1. Calls shall be made via sound and camera to either a skype, zoom or Google Hangouts account. 

2. Calls shall last for a maximum of 15 minutes.

3. Calls can be terminated at anytime by either party.

4. If there is no answer, we will retry three further times at 30 second intervals until the call is answered.

5. If you do not answer the call on our 4th attempt, you will not receive a call back.

6. All volunteers are DBS checked and trained in child protection. 

7. All calls are subject to correct information given in the booking form.

8. We recommend that parents/guardians always supervise these calls with children.

9. All call details shall be held for 1 month after scheduled call date and treated with confidentiality.

10. If screenshots are taken, these will be used for social media, shared with partners and used for publicity purposes. 

11. By booking a call you agree that your child fits the aims of Make a Smile, to bring happiness to children from a disadvantaged background, be in through illness, disability or any other accepted form of deprivation. 

12. Calls cannot be recorded without prior permission from Make a Smile 

13. Any inappropriate language or verbal abuse during a call will not be tolerated.
